Internship Opportunities at the DRC

The Development Research Centre on Migration, Globalisation and Poverty (DRC Migration) periodically recruits interns with an interest in migration and development. These internships last for between 3 and 6 months, and are, by and large, self-funded. Opportunities are advertised for placement in the following partner institutions:

  • Refugee and Migratory Movements Research Unit (RMMRU), Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Regional Institute for Population Studies (RIPS) and/or Institute for Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), Accra, Ghana
  • Sussex Centre for Migration Research (SCMR), Brighton, UK

You will be a current or recent postgraduate registered on a relevant MA course or a recent graduate with a good degree in a social science or other relevant discipline (e.g. law). While doing the internship, you will also have an opportunity to pursue your own research interests.
